I shall find a way - I even tattooed it :)

My favorite quote is Aut viam inveniam aut faciam, or in English I shall either find a way or make one. It came from Hannibal who was on his way to conquer Italy.

It inspires me to find my way no matter what someone might try to do to stop me. I have been living in accordance with this for about 7 years now.

My life, compared to lives of all my friends, is so much different and I made it that way.

I am a successful girl in an all male's world in a country that still doesn't recognize females as completely equal, managed to fight for myself and get a position in all men police unit, managed to go abroad for training, take part in a peace keeping mission, and win medals while beating men in a almost only male sport. My parents couldn't afford to put me through college - I am doing it myself. And I managed to get the best prize ever - the best man that is my husband since September.

I would advise all women never to give up. There is so much more on a list of my successes, some things very personal so I skipped them here but bottom line is: don't let anyone tell you what to do.

Listen to your parents' advice since they are the ones that love you without any conditions but always, always do everything you can to make your dreams come true.

I live with this quote and love it so much that I even tattooed it on my back, in my language...

Make way!!
by: Bonnie

Sure thing that. When life dishes up a heap of coal I like to say - turn up the heat and make diamonds with it. If there is no way through a big challenge I really do enjoy finding or making a way. It is better than giving up and then wondering what might have been. I could never live with that "what might have been" thinking so the motto is to never give up trying to find a way through.
